new blue business

The New Blue loves performing for a wide variety of events, ranging from school assemblies to corporate functions, from poolside gatherings to wedding receptions. Whether singing for a black tie event, caroling at holiday parties, celebrating with Yale alumni from all over the world, or or performing for and teaching students of all ages as a special schoolday experience, the New Blue consistently engages audiences with its professional poise and inspiring presence.

If you would like to add the voices of the New Blue to your event or bring us in to perform for your group-- whether it be 5th graders or businessmen, we would love the opportunity to share our music with you. Sung in close four to eight-part harmony, the New Blue's arrangements have a distinctive warm and rich sound not found in most other all-female groups, and we pride ourselves on singing from a repertoire that people of all ages and from all backgrounds can enjoy.

The business manager for the 2008-09 and 2009-10 school years is Stephanie Strauss. Feel free to use any of the following modes to contact us:

What satisfied clients and customers have to say:

Last fall when the New Blue performed here at the Yale Art Gallery for our Open House…We were all thrilled with your performance, and I’m writing now to ask if you’d like to sing again at next year’s Open House
-    Christopher Gartrell, Yale University Art Gallery

Please extend my appreciation to the women of the New Blue for your appearance at Westover [School in Middlebury, CT] .  I’ve heard great things about the workshops you all conducted…it seems to have been very successful, thanks to the skill, tact and generosity of your members.  And your singing was a wonderful finale to the day.  All of it was wonderful, and “It’s a Sin to Tell a Lie” is one of the best things I’ve ever heard!  Here’s looking forward to asking New Blue back to Westover another year
-    Robert Havery, Choir Director, Westover School

I have attended New Blue concerts and bought your cd’s… I enjoy your music and will continue to do so in the years ahead.
-    Craig Warren, Choate Rosemary Hall

Thank you for the singing Valentine’s Day message.  I was driving up the I-5 in central California and it made me smile for many miles.
-    John Bunce

Your group was terrific. I received several compliments of the performance that afternoon from our members...  On behalf of Ybor Rotary Club,  thanks to you and the other vocalists of New Blue.
-  Bill Terry, Ybor City Rotary Club
