discography
new blue through the ages

The New Blue has been recording its music since only a few years after its founding and today records a CD every other year. We are proud of the musicality of the New Blue throughout the ages and we frequently refer to old recordings for inspiration on  arrangements we still use.

Named after one of our most powerful and moving songs, an outcry against domestic violencce, A Small Blue Thing manages to combine both new and old arrangements with musicality and excellent soloists.

The New Blue (1989)

This self-titled album was New Blue's first project recorded on compact disc, when CDs were still the newest technology.
